We try to ship a product that doesn’t need a manual, but when something goes wrong (or you just want to ask “can Blustar do X?”), here’s how to reach us.
What to include when contacting support
To resolve your issue fast, give us:
- Your shop domain (
yourshop.myshopify.com). - The chat or action that failed — copy the assistant’s last reply if possible.
- Time of the incident (rough is fine).
- What you expected vs what happened.
- A screenshot if the issue is visual.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I install Blustar?
From the Shopify App Store. Search “Blustar” or visit the listing directly. Click Install, complete the OAuth handshake, and you’re in. No credit card required for the first 7 days of the Pro trial.
What does Blustar actually do?
Blustar is a chat assistant for Shopify merchants. You talk to it in plain language — Spanish, English, whatever — and it edits your store: writes product descriptions, generates landing pages, fixes SEO, creates sections, optimises images, schedules tasks, and (optionally) tracks conversion friction on your storefront.
Will it edit my live theme without asking?
No. Every theme-write goes through a preview-before-apply flow. Bulk destructive actions (mass description rewrites, bulk price changes) require explicit confirmation in plain words. See section 7 of the Terms of Service for the safety contract.
Can I undo something Blustar did?
For most edits, yes — the change log inside the app tracks what was edited and when, and for theme files we restore from the previous snapshot. For destructive bulk operations on Shopify data (product descriptions, prices), the safest undo is a dry-run preview before you confirm. We’re working on a one-click rollback for the next release.
How much does it cost?
Three plans:
- Starter — $29/month: ~50 chats, 10 generated images, no video. Ideal for solo merchants.
- Pro — $99/month: ~200 chats, 50 images, 5 short videos, full CRO Insights module.
- Agency — $249/month: fair-use chats, 200 images, 20 videos, multi-shop management, priority support, 99.5% SLA.
Top-up credits available for occasional overages. Pricing is billed via Shopify and shown clearly at install.
Is my store data used to train AI models?
No. Anthropic, Google, and our other AI providers process your data on documented instructions only. See the Privacy Policy for the full sub-processor list.
Can I export my chat history?
Yes — email privacy@blustar.app from the email associated with your shop and we’ll send a JSON export within 5 business days. We’re building a self-service export into the dashboard.
I uninstalled. How do I delete my data?
Shopify fires a shop/redact webhook 48 hours after uninstall. We purge all your shop data automatically — OAuth token, chat history, brand kit, memories. If you need immediate deletion, email privacy@blustar.app with your shop domain.
The assistant did something I didn’t ask for. Is that a bug?
Possibly. The agent has guardrails to refuse destructive actions without confirmation, but large language models can occasionally drift. Please report it to bugs@blustar.app with the chat transcript — we review every report and feed it into our evaluation suite to prevent regressions.
