Top-up credits
Need more capacity in a given month? Top up without changing plans:
- Boost — $10 · 500 credits — for the one push that’s hard to finish.
- Power — $50 · 3,000 credits — the most-picked pack. A full intense month without changing plan.
- Mega — $250 · 20,000 credits — for big campaigns or agencies running many stores at once.
Top-up credits never expire as long as your subscription is active. They’re consumed only after your monthly allowance is exhausted, and they do not count toward your daily burst cap.
FAQ
What is a credit?
A credit is the internal unit Blustar uses to debit AI work. A typical chat turn costs 1–4 credits; generating an image costs 8; a video generation costs ~100. The dashboard shows your remaining credits in real time.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Top-up credits (purchased separately) never expire as long as your subscription is active.
What if I run out mid-month?
You can either top up with extra credits (Boost $10 = 500 credits, Power $50 = 3,000 credits, Mega $250 = 20,000 credits) or upgrade your plan. The chat surfaces the right CTA when you hit the limit.
How does billing work?
Billing is handled directly by Shopify via their Billing API. You approve a recurring monthly charge inside your Shopify admin, and the charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice. Cancel any time from the Apps section.
Is there a free trial?
New installs get a 7-day Pro trial automatically — no credit card required. After the trial, you choose a plan or the app pauses (your data is retained for 30 days).
Can I downgrade?
Yes, any time. The new plan starts from your next billing cycle, and your credit balance carries over until it expires per the new plan's rules.
What happens if I uninstall?
Shopify cancels the subscription automatically. We retain your data for 30 days in case you reinstall, then purge it on the standard shop/redact webhook 48h after final uninstall confirmation.
